WHO ARE WE?
HOMIN is an initiative of Light For The Nations (LFTN)
HOMIN is an evangelical, multilingual (English, Spanish and French so far), interdenominational, and international institute dedicated to the equipping of learners in all the key areas relevant to Christian Mission in the US and abroad with a special focus on non-Western nations.
WHAT DO WE DO?
HOMIN trains church members, missionaries, church leaders and professionals through short term training sessions, conferences, seminars and distance education in the following domains:
Evangelism, Mission, Pastoral ministry, Youth ministry, Leadership, Adult Christian Education, Short term Missions, Mission administration, Church planting, Church growth, Ministry in Muslim Context, Athletic ministry, Arts and Music, International development and entrepreneurship etc.

The Holistic Mission Institute of  The  Nations (HOMIN),  is an initiative of Light For The Nations (LFTN) also known under the name of Luz Para Las Naciones (LPLN).

HOMIN is an evangelical, multilingual (English, Spanish and French so far), interdenominational, and international institute dedicated to the equipping of learners in all the key areas relevant to Christian Mission in the US and abroad with a special focus on non-Western nations. We currently work in partnership with William Carey International University.

WHAT DO WE DO?

HOMIN trains church members, missionaries, church leaders and professionals through short term training sessions, conferences, seminars and distance education at certificate, Bachelor, Master and Ph.D levels  in the following domains:

Evangelism, Mission, Pastoral ministry, Youth ministry, Leadership, Adult Christian Education, Short term Missions, Mission administration, Church planting, Church growth, Ministry in Muslim Context, Athletic ministry, Arts and Music, International development and entrepreneurship etc.

WHAT ARE OUR OBJECTIVES?

HOMIN trains people for holistic mission.

HOMIN would like to be the best serving hand for:

- local churches and Christian organizations who are willing to send teams overseas for short mission trips

- denominations and Christian organizations involved in mission who would like to get practical advise for intercultural ministries

- church leaders who would like to learn how to grow or rejuvenate their churches and explore innovative expressions of church

- mission pastors who would like to learn how to be more effective in their ministry

- church members who would like to learn how to evangelize and plant churches

- mission executives and mission executives who are willing to be more effective in their ministry (updates, counseling, renewal)

- Churches, mission agencies, Christian organizations, Christian schools, Seminaries, NGOs, Christian business men and women who need advice or consultations.

- Seminaries, Christian universities who need to expand overseas via distance education.

WHAT ARE OUR MISSION AND VISION?

Mission Statement

The mission HOMIN is to provide a biblical, multiethnic, contextual, innovative and practical education in holistic mission.

Vision statement

Our vision is to see church members and church leaders from various denominations actively involved in holistic mission, reinvigorating existing churches, planting new churches, developing and implementing fresh mission strategies that are fruitful for the glory of God.

WHY ARE WE UNIQUE?

We are:

-Multilingual training in Missions up to the Ph. D. level (English, French, Spanish etc.)

-International and well experienced faculty coming mostly from regions where churches are growing very fast

-Excellent but affordable and flexible training that does not require to move to another country or to quit the current job,

-Redesigned curriculum that takes into consideration the current changes in the world and on the mission fields.

We currently have a special focus on Francophone Africa, North America, and South America.
